another day at the beach

I tend to gravitate to the beach as it is one of my favorite places to be no matter the time of year. So Dave and I wandered out to Holland State Park or as Lindsey would say HSP. So the lone glove lost by someone but a stranger placed it on a post of the snow fence in case its owner came back looking for it.

Snow Boarding sisters

It was a comfortable Michigan Saturday in Februrary and Alex, Elisabeth and Tammy Lentz and I went to Mulligans Hollow in Grand Haven to take some photo's and for Alex and Elizabeth to snow board. While it wasn't just like the the olympics I watched this last week it was very interesting watching all the different skill levels and ages coming down the bunny hill and then the next hill. This was a new challenge as I have never photographed snow boarding or skiing so this was another check mark off my long list of things to photograph.

Well I wanted a snack when I got home from work so do I choose the apple or go for the Hershey nuggets with TOFFEE and ALMONDS? Does anyone think they know which one I chose?

I forgot to bring my camera with me this morning so I had to rethink what to take a photo of today. Soooooo on our deck is a hanger planter that we bought this summer and it is now blooming. REALLY I did not go out and paint the dead flowers!!! So this planter will stay there until spring and see what it does then.
